Hanif Abbasi sends Rs1 billion defamation notice to Imran
Abbassi has sent a notice to Imran Khan through his lawyer Ghulam Mustafa Kidwal.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) has sent a defamation notice seeking Rs1 billion in damages from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s chairman Imran Khan.
Hanif Abbassi demanded in his notice that either Imran should apologize within 15 days or pay Rs1 billion in damages to his reputation.
According to Hanif Abbassi, Imran had been spreading propaganda against him by labeling him as ‘ephedrine smuggler’.
Abbassi has sent a notice to Imran Khan through his lawyer Ghulam Mustafa Kidwal.
Abbassi has stated in the notice that Imran Khan has been using slanderous words including drug to defame him in his speeches during the sit-ins.
