Three militants killed in clashes with security forces in Swat
Heavy weapons and ammunition were recovered during the search operation.
SWAT (Dunya News)— Three militants were killed in clash with the security forces in Charbagh area of Swat on Sunday.
According to sources some armed militants attacked the house of Defence Committee member Ayub Khan and gunned him down late Saturday night.
The security personnel were immediately called in and launched a search operation soon after the incident to trace the attackers. During the operation, the militants opened fire on the security forces. However, three militants were killed in the retaliatory attack by the security personnel in Mangal Tan area of Charbag. Heavy weapons and ammunition were recovered during the search operation.
