PTI leader Javed Hashmi said he was in Multan due to a personal reason.

MULTAN (Web Desk) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf president Javed Hashmi has reached Multan today (Friday), Dunya News reported.

Talking to Dunya News on his arrival, Javed Hashmi played down reports of differences with the party leadership, saying that he has returned from sit-in due to a personal reason.

He said there is no differences with party leadership, however, whatever happened was not good.

Earlier, it was speculated that Hashmi may not be unhappy with PTI chief Imran Khan for agreeing over army’s mediation in the political issue.

Imran Khan and cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri, who have led anti-government protests, met Army Chief General Raheel Sharif late on Thursday after saying they had agreed to his role as "mediator and guarantor   in talks with the prime minister.

During meeting, Imran Khan made it clear that "there can t be an independent investigation so long as Nawaz Sharif is prime minister".

He has called on his supporters to gather at the Islamabad protest site by 1:00 am (1300 GMT) on Friday.
