Take me back to Islamabad, says Dr. Tahirul Qadri

Tahirul Qadri says the government seems puzzled on his arrival.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr. Tahirul Qadri refused to come out of the plane upon his arrival at the Lahore airport, insisting that the flight should be taken back to Islamabad.

Talking to Dunya News, the PAT chief said that the incumbent government has hired terrorists in police uniforms and plain clothes to target him.

Expressing confidence in army, Tahirul Qadri the military leadership to take notice of the situation.

He said passengers have been forcefully brought to Lahore from Islamabad. 

“Talks cannot be held with the civil authorities and terrorists” he said, adding that only army can deal with the terrorists and people like Gullut Butt.

Qadri said he will only go home if army officials ensure his security. 

On the other hand, Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said defence institution should not be dragged into politics.
