Pakistan keen to restart peace talks with India: Qureshi
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has welcomed Indian External Affairs Minister S. M. Krishna's remarks regarding the resumption of stalled bilateral talks between both countries. Terming the latest development as a positive step, Qureshi said Islamabad has always been keen to restart the peace talks, so that all outstanding issues between both countries are resolved amicably. There are many outstanding issues between the two countries, and we have decided to resolve them through peaceful negotiations. A new thinking is developing there (India) and if they have expressed a desire to resume dialogue, we welcome it, Qureshi added.
