Missing persons: SC dismisses Defence Ministry report

Supreme Court has dismissed the defence ministrys report regarding the missing persons case while seeking a comprehensive report in this regard.The Defence Ministry submitted its report in Masood Janjua case today.During the hearing, Justice Javed Iqbal remarked that it seemed as if the ministry has played a role of a postman as the report lacked any evidence.Justice Javed noted that as many as 198 persons have been recovered so far with Supreme Courts efforts, adding that the verdict in Janjuas case would be issued in a fortnight
