Saad Rafique asks Imran to accept poll results
PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has asked PTI chief Imran Khan to accept election result.
LAHORE (Online): Leader Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Khswaja Saad Rafique said on Monday that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan should refrain from provoking public sentiments.
Speaking to media persons, he said that Imran Khan should learn to face realities as masses expressed utmost confidence over PML-N through ballot.
Refereeing the election results of his constituency NA-125 Lahore VIII, he said that PTI scored 83, 190 votes, which shows a great tilt of voters towards PTI. “PTI leadership should thank God for securing such heavy mandate of people, ‘he added.
On the other hand Khawaja Saad himself scored 1,23,094 votes and won the constituency.
He further disclosed that PML-N facing media trial by the hands of PTI. The leaders of PTI should give up jealousy and act like seasoned politicians. PML-N has won such mandate of masses after facing numerous hardships.
He added that Imran Khan should learn to congratulate winners against him, until now Mr. Khan didn’t forwarded congratulation message to the Nawaz Sharif. He said that now the trend has entirely changed, agitated politicians will commit political suicide.
Meanwhile, he expressed satisfaction over the Election Commission and Judiciary for their efforts to conduct free and fair election 2013.
