Widespread rain in most parts of country
Widespread rain and snowfall over the hills was recorded in the country during the past 24 hours.
Widespread rain was recorded with snowfall over the hills likely in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Paktunkhwa, Islamabad and Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan, while there was scattered rain in southern Punjab and southern Khyber Paktunkhwa and at isolated places of Sukkur, Larkana, Quetta, Zhob divisions.
Intermittent rain continued in Lahore on Monday which dropped the mercury further down.
Rain was also recorded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rain water accumulated in where low lying areas in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan.
Weather has turned colder again across the country while the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall during next 24 hours.
Maximum rain in the country, 148mm, was recorded in Chirat while Saidu Sharif received 138mm of rain, Risalpur 136, Lower Dir 107, Rawla Kot 95, Chakwal 94, Islamabad 69, Kohat 61 and Mianwali received 51mm of rain.
