Dr Khalil Chishti reaches Karachi
Dr Khalil Chishti was warmly welcomed at the Karachi Airport on his return from India.
KARACHI: Dr Khalil Chishti and his wife reached Karachi on PIA flight PK-307 where he was warmly greeted by his family members and well wishers on Sunday.
Earlier, the Indian Supreme Court on Wednesday freed Pakistan microbiologist Mohammed Khalil Chishti, saying that sentence served by him so far is enough and he can return back to his country.
Dr Chishti was held guilty in a 20-year-old murder case, and had been serving life term.
