Traffic accidents in Multan, Attock: 20 killed 76 injured
Twenty people were killed and 76 others injured in Attock and Multan traffic accidents on Monday, reported Dunya News. Seventeen people died and 37 received injuries in collision of two buses on Pindi-Kohat Road near Fateh Jang. The injured told that that overtaking caused the accident. The injured were shifted to Fateh Jang Tehsil Hospital. Separately, three people died and 12 injured in collision of a truck and van on Nag Shah Chowk in Multan. The van was heading to Multan from Jam Pur. The eye-witnesses revealed over-speeding resulted in the accident. The names of dead are driver Ibrahim, two passengers Dilawar and Aslam. The injured include Ashiq Rana, Zubair Bibi, Fatima Bibi, Navid Mai, Kashif Nawaz, Muzaffar, Nauman, Hamid Raza, Waqar Iqbal, Kaleem Nawaz, Mubasher, Imtiaz and Muhamad Akrab who have been shifted to Nashtar Hospital. Three of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
