PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Legendary Pakistani film and television actor Rasheed Naz has passed away at the age of 73.
According to details, the funeral prayers of the actor will be offered in Peshawar.
Rasheed Naz, who has worked in numerous movies and television dramas, was born on September 9, 1948 in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He started his television career as an actor in Pushto television play in 1971. Rasheed Naz has worked in several Pashto, Hindko and Urdu language plays. His first Urdu play was Aik Tha Gaoon (1973).
Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed sorrow over sad demise of the senior actor and said that legendary work done by Rasheed Naz is still appreciated by his fan.
Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has also expressed profound sorrow and grief over the demise of renowned and veteran artist Rasheed Naz.
In a condolence message issued here on Monday, he expressed sympathies with the deceased’s heirs adding his services in the field of art would be remembered forever.
He prayed for the rest of the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with patience.
