Frisbey, Schneider gets Chopard trophy in Cannes

Two young rising stars were awarded the Chopard Prise during the Cannes Film Festival in France.

French actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey and French actor Niels Schneider were given the Chopard Prise at the 64th Cannes Film Festival.Jury president and Chopard Trophy patron, actor Robert De Niro, presented the trophies to the young actor and actress.The prize was initiated 10 years to recognise young talent emerging as the movie stars of tomorrow.Astrid Berges-Frisbey is already well on her way, starring in the biggest Hollywood movie showing at the festival, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, alongside Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz.A tearful, overwhelmed Berges-Frisbey was left speechless as she was presented her award by screen legend De Niro.Niels Schneider, who caught the eye of critics at last years festival with his performance in the Un Certain Regard entry, Heartbeats, also received a trophy from De Niro.
