Atiq-ur-Rehman records statement in Meera marriage case
Justice Babar Nadeem summoned lawyers of both parties.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lollywood actress Meera’s alleged husband Atiq-ur-Rehman on Saturday has recorded statement in her marriage case for the first time in nine years.
According to sources, Rehman said that Meera is his wife and he still loves her. He said that Meera and his nikkah was performed in the presence of witnesses which is still registered in union council Makkah Colony record.
He further said that he gifted a house to Meera and submitted copies of all the documents.
Justice Babar Nadeem summoned lawyers of both parties and adjourned the hearing for two days.
