KARACHI: (Daily Dunya, Web Desk) – Famous TV and stage actor Majid Jahangir is facing extreme illness these days and is unable to afford the medical treatment even due to his financial problems.
The Fifty50 fame has been going through the agony for quite some time now. He told the media that he was suffering from illness for last several months and thus unable to work and even afford medicine.
Last year, Majid had been given Rs 500,000 by Punjab government. However, Majid Jahangir is unable to work anymore due to his body paralysis that hit him back in 2015. He can’t earn a living for himself and has no source of income therefore.
Sindh government had also provided him with Rs 400,000 and President Mamnoon Hussain also gave him a cheque worth Rs 300,000 but the costly treatment leaves him short of money each time despite repeated help provided by various government officials.
