MUMBAI (Dunya News) - Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished a part of Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi’s bungalow located in Versova.

According to details, the actor bought the property in 2012 but allegedly carried out the illegal construction with an additional floor.

A demolition notice was issued to Warsi on the bungalow No. 10 in Air India Co-operative Society (Shantiniketan) providing him 24 hours to remove the illegal construction of the second floor. However; after receiving no reply from the actor BMC carried out symbolic partial demolition of his residence as it was locked.

BMC has said that they would serve a second notice to Arshad Warsi and his wife Maria Goretti, seeking access to the illegally built portion of the bungalow.

Moreover, additional illegal construction in the area has also been identified on which a probe is underway.
