Anum murder case: Security guard retracts confession
Anum was shot dead at her Islamabad residence earlier this week
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Police have held two accused on Friday after identification by a security guard, another suspect, in Pashto stage actress, Anum alias Anoushay’s murder case.
Anum, a mother of a three-year-old was killed two days ago in Islamabad. Reportedly, security guard who was held following the incident has retracted his initial statement claiming that he was offered a lot of money to maintain the stance earlier.
Anum hailed from a Pashtun family in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The guard had confessed to the murder initially. He claimed today that at least three to four persons were involved in the murder.
Police said that the prime suspect in the case is still at large and a formal request has been forwarded to obtain mobile network data pertaining to the accused.
Anum was shot dead at her Islamabad residence earlier this week, shortly after her brief Mardan visit.
