LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pop singer turned cleric Junaid Jamshed has hit controversy once again after a picture of him holding hands with pop legend Hadiqa Kiani made rounds on the social media.
Junaid Jamshed was on an event that brought together Vital Signs and Junoon to launch another patriotic song and this was where he was clicked with co-stars.
Holding hands with co-stars isn’t something that makes the news. This is different because Jamshed has previously uttered remarks on television which were interpreted as disrespectful to women. One such remark was how women should not drive whereas in another comment, he claimed God doesn’t like to mention women’s name.
Although Junaid Jamshed issued an explanation after those remarks, social media users are not ready to let him off the hook. This is the reason why Junaid Jamshed is one of the trending topics on Twitter since yesterday (Monday).
