LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan ’s great comedian Mastana left this world 4 years ago on 11 April. Mastana was born in Gujranwala. His real name was Murtaza Hassan.
Mastana started his acting career in his teenage and acted for TV and theater for more than 4 decades. He started his theatre career from Gujranwala and then famous actor late Fakhri Ahmed introduced him into Lahore’s theatrical circle. Mastana worked in Lahore’s theatres, starting from 1985 and worked for the next 2 and half decades.
Mastana’s best dramas include Shartia Meethey, Shararti Kudiyan and many others while he also acted in many hit dramas of Pakistan Television. He died at the age of 58 in Bahawalpur.
