American Music Awards 2009 have been announced. Michael Jackson made history by winning four posthumous American Music Awards. Taylor Swift took home top honors and grabbed five AMAs including Artist of the Year a category which Michael Jackson was also nominated for.Michael Jackson won awards in ROCK, SOUL/RHYTHM & BLUES, categories. Jay-Z and The Black Eyed Peas won two awards each. The night included some great duets such as Alicia Keys, Eminem with 50 Cent, and Timbaland with So Shy. Comeback performances featured Rihanna and the one and only Whitney Houston. Lady Gaga proved she can still maintain shock factor while sounding great and Adam Lambert attempted to prove himself to the world.
