Juhi Chawla turns 45
Juhi Chawla is celebrating her 45 birthday on Tuesday.
The famous Indian actress during the decades of late 80s and 1990s Juhi Chawla is celebrating her 45th birthday. Juhi Chawla embarked on her filmi career after winning the Miss India beauty contest in 1984, in Sultanat. She went on to become one of the top leading heroines of her time and starred in films ranging from the romantic comedies like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.
Though her career got its first boost with the Aamir Khan-starrer, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Juhi later found her comfort zone with Shahrukh Khan. They did some memorable films such as Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Darr and Yes Boss together and went on to start their own production house, Dreamz Unlimited.
She has been mostly recognised for her comic timing and her million dollar dimpled smile. After having starred in over 70 mainstream masala films, she started acting in art-house and independent films. She has made appearances in Punjabi films and has been mostly working in parallel cinema. She gained critical acclaim for her sterling performances in films like Jhankaar Beats, 3 Deewarein, My Brother, Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal.
