BISE Lahore: late-result students future in limbo

A week has passed since BISE Lahore declared Inter result, but many students still await results.

The students whose results were shown late on the result gazette have been forced to pay visit to the Board office on a daily basis. Though they have paid a hefty fee for inquiries and re-checking, yet nobody can say when would their requests be granted in the absence of any standard procedure.Many students daily visit the Board office with their parents and find themselves at the mercy of clerks who generally appear to be in hurry to facilitate students. The students are also restless as the Universities have set their deadlines for admission, while their results are still in limbo.The Punjab University has extended the admission deadline, nut it can’t be said if this would help them in the face of red tape.
