MOSCOW (Shahid Ghumman) – According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, approximately 1,450 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in clashes on the war front over the past 24 hours.

The ministry stated that Russian battle groups made significant advances on various fronts, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.

The ministry reported that 285 Ukrainian troops were killed in the North sector, 235 in the West, 175 in the South, and 465 on the Center front. In the East, 235 soldiers were killed, while 55 were eliminated on the Dnipro front.

Russian forces confirmed that, in response to what they termed “terrorist attacks” on Russian civilian areas, Ukrainian defensive and industrial facilities were targeted with long-range weapons, including Kinzal hypersonic missiles. All targeted objectives were reportedly successfully hit.

The statement added that Russian forces struck Ukraine’s energy and transport infrastructure, military equipment depots, and foreign mercenary positions at 152 locations.

According to the report, the Center battle group continued operations in Dymytrov (Donetsk People’s Republic), encircling and eliminating Ukrainian units while consolidating frontline positions.

Russian air defenses reportedly shot down 366 Ukrainian drones and two US-made HIMARS rockets over the past 24 hours.

Since the start of the operation, the Russian Ministry of Defense claims that 668 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, over 100,000 drones, more than 26,000 armored vehicles, over 31,000 artillery pieces, and more than 48,000 military vehicles have been destroyed.
