Chinese air force plane crashes in air show

According to Chinese media an air force fighter jet crashed during an air show.

A plane crashed Friday morning at about 10:40 during an air show in Pucheng county, northwest Chinas Shaanxi Province.There are no reports of casualties, but witnesses said they saw the pilot was ejected before the fighter jet fell. Audience saw heavy smoke billow up at the scene. The air show continued after the crash while emergency rescue wok had been carried out.Organizers of the air show were scheduled to hold a press conference Friday afternoon to announce the cause of the crash and the result of rescue operation.The fighter jet of FBC-1, also known as Flying Leopard, is manufactured by the Xian Aircraft Industry Corp.The air show is part of the 5-day China International General Aviation Convention that is being held in Xian, capital of Shaanxi Province, northwest China.
