At least 35 people were killed and several were injured in a bus accident in Nepal.

According to police, a crowded bus veered off a mountain highway in eastern Nepal, killing at least 35 people. Many more are believed to be missing.Police official Rana Bahadur Basnet told an international news agency that the bus rolled several feet (meters) off the highway and plunged into the Sunkosi River on Thursday.Police and army rescuers were on the way to help villagers with the rescue. Details were still unclear.
