(Web Desk) – After a long rule of Queen Elizabeth II spanning nearly 70 years, Charles III was crowned as king on May 6 at a colourful ceremony in London.

At 12:02pm exactly (1102 GMT), the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby placed the solid gold St Edward’s Crown on Charles’s head as a sacred and ancient symbol of the monarch’s authority.

A grand event was showed to the world with ceremonial gun salutes blasted across land. Also, the most cherished moment was when Charles III took religious oath and it marked his religious authentication as king after her mother.
