Navjot Singh Sidhu released before completion of the sentence

Mr. Sidhu was released earlier after being convicted in a 34 years old case
PATIALA (Web Desk) – Eminent Ex-Cricketer and prominent leader associated with the opposition party Congress: Navjot Singh Sidhu was released two month before completion of his sentence from Patiala jail.
The Indian Supreme Court, last year, announced one year sentence for Mr. Singh in a 34 years old road rage case that took life of one person. The ex-cricketer was detained in Patiala jail from last 10 months.
Upon his release, the jail administration said, Mr. Sidhu has been released early due to his good conduct during the jail time.
Mr. Sidhu recently left the leadership of congress in Punjab after the party got defeated in the provincial elections. Also, it has been revealed that Mr. Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur is suffering from stage two cancer.
