Bengal: Numerous students hospitalized after ingesting poisonous food
(Web Desk) – A snake was found in a food container in India, and several students fell sick after eating poisonous food.
According to Indian media, this incident took place in district Birbhun in West Bengal, where the students of a primary school were served lunch during break time, and nearly 30 students vomited after having food and were immediately taken to the hospital.
The media reports stated that the kitchen staff of the school told them that a container with curry had a snake mixed in it.
Furthermore, the hospital discharged the children after giving them first aid and their health stabilized, although one student was still under supervision but had no life-threatening situation.
