Youths protest against joblessness in Madrid

Thousands of young Spaniards staged a protest in Madrid against rise in joblessness.

The protesters in defiance of a ban on demonstrations gathered at the central square in Madrid.The demonstrators also shouted slogans and vowed to boycott upcoming state elections. The protest was started on May 15 but police forcibly removed the protesters from the area. The youth started to gather at the Central Square on Wednesday. The protesters also vowed to continue their struggle for an indefinite period. Among all the European nations, jobless rate in Spain is currently the highest.
