The UN Security Council has called Osamas death a critical development in fight against terrorism.

It was a rare occasion where The United Nations Security Council welcomed the death of any person.The 15-nation council said in a statement that the United States military operation on Sunday meant that Bin Laden would never again be able to perpetrate such acts of terrorism as the September 11, 2001 attacks.The Security Council recognizes this critical development and other accomplishments made in the fight against terrorism and urges all states to remain vigilant and intensify their efforts in the fight against terrorism.The council called for increased cooperation among countries to urgently bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers and sponsors of terrorist attacks.
