The US Law Department claims that a Pakistani national is held for illegally exporting nuclear reactor materials to Pakistan.According to the US Attorneys office says, 45-year-old Nadeem Akhtar of Silver Spring was ordered held Wednesday pending a detention hearing Thursday in US District Court in Baltimore. According to the indictment, between October 2005 and March 2010, Nadeem Akhtar conspired to export restricted goods and technology without necessary licenses. The items included radiation detection devices, resins for cooling water purification, and calibration and switching equipment.The US Attorneys Office further maintained that Nadeem Akhtar, the owner of Computer Communications USA, shall face charges up to 20 years on including illegal export and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
