Instead the organisers have decided to showcase unique light show to mesmerise the attendees

(Web Desk) – There will be no fireworks to celebrate the 2018 New Year eve at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, instead the organisers will host a light show to entertain the people who gather in great number every year at the iconic destination.

The plans for fireworks were dropped for various concerns. There will not be a special one of its kind light show on the eve of December 31, 2017.

The light show will be held to celebrate the arrival of New Year. 2018 will begin with a new style in Dubai as fireworks are an important part of the New Year celebrations all across the world.

Emaar developers have arranged light shows for both its projects Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. On Facebook, the company posted, "This #MyDubaiNewYear is nothing like you ve seen before! Get ready for a groundbreaking show as we #LightUp2018 in Downtown Dubai."

There will be neon-blue lights in the sky reading different words high up in the sky.
