Death toll climbs to 120 as regime thumps protesters in Libya

Death toll, in Libyan protests, rose to 120 after the clashes between the protesters and security forces erupted during funeral procession of 12 activists in Benghazi.

A medical officer, seeking anonymity, told an international news agency that he had seen 35 corpses of activists. He said that security forces opened fired at the protesters when they were gathering outside the Katiba Military Camp.Meanwhile, Libyan authorities have warned the protesters that the regime would not hesitate to use iron hand to crush the protests. In Al Bayda city, a doctor reported that 23 dead bodies and some 500 injured were brought to the hospital in last 48-hours.
