Mexico: Eight suspected hitmen killed by soldiers

Mexican troops killed eight suspected drug hitmen following a high speed chase at dawn on Friday, Dunya News reported.

A shootout erupted after a convoy of vehicles failed to stop at a military check-point. During the chase, the alleged hitmen threw grenades at soldiers and opened fire while troops fired back. At least 10 men are thought to have escaped, either by foot or on board vehicles.Few days earlier, eight others were also killed in clashes between police and hitmen.
