The US government is allegedly trying to back the anti-government demonstrators in Iran. The clashes erupted between the masses and the security forces in Isfahan and Tehran in which one was shot dead while several injured, Dunya News reported.

The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Iran should reform its political system following the change in Egypt. Talking to media in Washington, Hillary Clinton commended the will and courage of the anti-government demonstrators. She pointed that the act of demonstrators taking to streets of Tehran exposes hypocrisy of the Iranian government.The US Secretary of State warned Iranian government to stop violence against the masses and avoid suppressing their freedom of expression. Political changes in the system were vital to understand the viewpoint of the opposition and the civil society, Hillary concluded.Meanwhile, thousands of people in Isfahan and Tehran demonstrated and clashes erupted between the demonstrators and the security, where as 1 person was killed and many injured in firing.
