CCTV footage of deadly assault on Kim Jong-nam surfaces

Attack is believed to have been carried out by a woman who can clearly be seen in the CCTV footage

WEB DESK (Dunya News) - As the jaw-dropping deadly assault on the half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un left everyone in shock last week, the CCTV footage of the incident had also been released Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV.

It is pertinent to mention that Kim Jong-nam died on February 14 abruptly after an assault in the departure hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The half-brother of North Korean dictator was about to take a flight to Macau just moments before his death.

It was also reported that the attack is believed to have been carried out by a woman who can clearly be seen in the CCTV footage.

Moreover, it has also believed that the assailant had wiped a fast-acting poison on Kim Jong-nam’s face.

The Malaysian police have detained four suspects in connection to the murder. The suspects included a Malaysian man, a North Korean man, a Vietnamese woman and an Indonesian woman.

The authorities are also on the hunt for other four North Koreans who have fled Malaysia on the day of the deadly assault.
