WEB DESK (Dunya News) – Tweets of Bana al-Abed documents the life of seven years old girl in wrecked city of Aleppo, Syria.
It all started a few months back when the brave girl from Syria took to twitter to elaborate the horrible picture of war in a city that is under the threat of bombardment every now and then. Since then, her twitter account has become a voice for all those who are on the run especially when the troops started penetrating in the rebel-held area of Aleppo.
The seven-year-old Bana al-Abed and her mother, Fatemah, have engaged with Twitterati to share the latest updates of war-torn Aleppo over the last couple of months.
However, fears for the girl’s safety have grown ever since her mother shared the final tweet with her followers. The tweet reveals ‘Can’t Be Alive Anymore’ and the series of posts have stopped since then.
