North Korea to bolster nuclear capability

North Korea announced that it would further strengthen its nuclear deterrent by taking new measures to deal with the current situation of facing nuclear threats from the U.S.North Korea's foreign ministry spokesman said Pyongyang has no choice but to bolster its own nuclear deterrent since it faced a U.S. administration bent on imposing nuclear threat on the Korean peninsula. The United States denies any intent of military engagement with the North.
