Kashmiri leaders detain in Occupied Kashmir

Shabir Shah, Yasin Malik and Naeem Khan along with various others have been sent to different jails.

SRINAGAR (Dunya News) – Just after the announcement of elections in the valley, Indian government has started crackdown against separatist leaders in Kashmir on Sunday.

Syed Ali Gilani of Hurriyat Conference has been taken under house arrest whereas Shabir Shah, Yasin Malik and Naeem Khan along with various others have been imprisoned in different jails.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed outrage over detainment of their leaders.

Despite the destruction caused by the recent floods in Kashmir, Indian government has announced the general elections.

Staged elections on 87 seats of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will be conducted on November 25.
