Iraq bomb blasts leave 29 dead

Death toll has reached to 29 in a series of bomb attacks in Baghdad. A provincial counselor is also among the dead in the twin bomb blasts in Hilla, 100km south of Baghdad. It was reported that more than 100 people were injured in the blasts. Officials said that two explosions struck near a bus station. The first bomb, in a car, was said to have exploded in Hilla, the provincial capital about 95km south of the capital Baghdad. Another blast came about 15 minutes later when police arrived, leaving 29 people dead and 100 other injured.
