Afghan Government allows exiled Dostam to return

Afghan Government has allowed the exiled Uzbek leader General Abdur Rasheed Dostam to return to the country after his expected support to the Afghan president Hamid Karzai. Afghan Government last year exiled Dostam to Turkey. A statement by the Afghan Government said that residence and transportation in the country was Dostams right and he could return to Afghanistan at any time as an Afghani. Dostam had secured 12percent votes in presidential elections against Karzai in 2004.
