Miliband defends UK presence in Afghanistan

UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband defended the presence of British troops in Afghanistan, adding that it was in interest of Afghanistan. In an interview with a US TV Channel he said that British people should understand that war in Afghanistan was being fought under a political strategy. He said that those who thought that troops from Afghanistan should be called back should understand that the war was in interest of Britain. He said three third of the plans to attack on UK were hatched in Pak-Afghan tribal areas.
