Traffic e-challan system issues fine for stolen bike in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The traffic police e-challan system has issued a fine for a stolen motorcycle.

The motorcycle, stolen four years ago, had its fine sent to the owner. According to the owner, the motorcycle with registration number GI 1312 was stolen from Tipu Sultan four years back.

The owner said that in the e-challan issued on October 27, he was fined **PKR 5,000 for not wearing a helmet, despite having filed a theft report at Tipu Sultan police station.

The fact that the stolen motorcycle was still being driven in the city has raised questions for the authorities.
