(Web Desk) - A home renovation in Arizona turned into Indiana Jones' worst nightmare when they discovered western diamondback rattlesnakes were living in the shower walls.

Rattlesnake Solutions posted several videos on its YouTube channel of the snakes being removed from a home in Tonopah in November and December of 2023.

One of the workers reached into the ceiling to try and locate a gas leak and was surprised to hear rattling, and a few days later, he spotted a rattlesnake.

“That was crazy. I’m really glad that they rattled at him,” veteran snake catcher Marissa Maki says in one of the videos.

"You’re not thinking when digging into your wall that you’re going to run into rattlesnakes. It’s just not something that’s probably on your mind. It’s on in his mind now."

The snake-removal service was called and the team was able to flush four rattlesnakes out in two visits.

Maki believes that the snakes were likely planning to live in the walls through the winter to avoid the cold.

Despite the snakes being successfully removed from the house, many commenters made it clear that they would never live in a place they knew had been infested with rattlesnakes.

"That house would be up for sale. I could not live there knowing they were in there," one commenter wrote.
