Growing this monster pumpkin was no small feat because it now weighs the same as a small FiatThe super-squash tips the scales at 1,000lb – as heavy as a Fiat 500 – and is 60 times bigger than a normal vegetable.Twins Ian and Stuart Paton, 50, grew it in Lymington, Hants, as well as a crop of 12 super-onions.Ian said: “You’ve got to give a pumpkin a good diet. This one’s probably one of the largest in the UK.”
