A Pennsylvania couple celebrated 80th wedding anniversary
(Web Desk) - A 102-year-old Pennsylvania couple celebrated an even more unusual milestone: their 80th wedding anniversary.
Robert and Edith Mae Schaum, who met in high school in 1936 and married in 1942, marked the occasion on December 26.
"We support each other," Edith Mae said to WGAL-TV.
"I guess the secret is to not go to bed angry," Robert added.
The Guinness World Record for the longest marriage is 86 years and 290 days. It was established by Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher, who were married until Herbert Fisher s death in 2011.
