Fireball flashes in dark sky above Alaska
(Web Desk) – A bright fireball was recorded in the South Central state of Alaska, hovering in the dark sky.
Several CCTV cameras of residencies in Anchorage and Wasilla captured the scene when that meteor passed by on a Wednesday at 5:47 in the morning.
American Meteor Society (AMS) noticed that fireball emerging from nowhere.
AMS reported that Earth is between materials shed from comets, an annual event called “Ursid Meteor Shower”, and peaks between December 22nd and 23rd.
