WEB DESK (Dunya News) - The world s biggest dinosaur footprint have been found in northwestern Australia as the lead author of a study revealed that the footprints measured nearly 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 meters).

It is believed that the track belonged to a sauropod, a long-necked herbivore.

It is pertinent to mention that 1.15 meter-long (nearly 3 feet 9 inches) footprints were also found in last July. However, with the present discovery, the World’s biggest dinosaur footprint had been found as yet.

Moreover, the footprint, found in Bolivia, was the biggest so far from a carnivorous dinosaur.

"The giant footprints are no doubt spectacular," Steve Salisbury, the lead author of the study and a professor at the University of Queensland revealed. "There s nothing that comes close (to this length)."
