A new radar system called the CounterBomber helps military personnel get an advanced warning of possible suicide bomber threats.Suicide bombers have been a major issue since the very earliest days of the war on terror but this new discovery can be a step to track some of the individuals willing to sacrifice their own lives to attack. Equipped with a trio of radar detectors, the CounterBomber can sense possible bombers up to 100 yards away, before they become a danger to buildings, civilians, or soldiers.The unit uses a complicated algorithm to detect possible bomb materials hiding beneath a persons clothing, and once a threat is detected, soldiers can be warned through a handheld device like a smartphone. As the radar does not make use of x-ray machine it is less complicated that the scanners at airport security.
