The Electronic Entertainment Expo begins this week and the event is expected to showcase a wide number of upcoming technologies this year. Nintendo is expected to roll out a new generation of its motion-activated Wii gaming system.The game maker will fully raise the curtain on the Wiis successor at the gaming industrys annual convention. Details on the new console remain a mystery but gamers are anticipating features like high-definition graphics and touchscreen controllers. Another announcement expected at this event is by Sony. The company has not hidden what its big announcement will be. It is a handheld gaming system called the NGP -- Next Generation Portable. Cloud-based gaming and the continued growth of casual games may also get some attention at the show. Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, Batman: Arkham City, and Bioshock Infinite are all expected to demo at the show. Others on the list include Batman: Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Darkness II and long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever.
