French rider Yoann Offredo has been suspended for a year.
He missed three doping tests, his Francaise des Jeux (FDJ) team confirmed on Thursday.Considered as one of the rising stars of road racing, the 26-year-old missed the three tests in an 18-month period. His suspension begins on January 31, 2012.I take note of the decision, whether I agree with it or not thats how it is, said FDJ team manager Marc Madiot.I think we have reached certain limits in the system. Thats how it is now.The rider has 30 days to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) with a risk that the sanction could be heavier.
